I love getting to experience the unique spaces and atmospheres that small business owners create in their stores. Each is so unique, which is so much more fun than the big box stores or shopping online!
I’ve put together a list of some amazing Cleveland area toy shops that we love. Feel free to let us know if there are any we missed, and we'll try to make it out to the shop to experience it for ourselves so we can add it to this list.

Don't let the name fool you, this shop is SO MUCH MORE than just dollhouses!
There are toys, games, books, dollhouses (of course!), and so much more.
When you visit, make sure you make your way to the basement for another whole room of toys.
A big bonus for me is getting to walk around Olmsted Falls after shopping at Dolls and Minis. I think it's one of the cutest little towns in Northeast Ohio! (See it on Instagram)
Once Upon A Time Toys

We love this traditional-style toy shop.
It really brings back all the feels of my childhood when I walk into this shop.
They have a great selection of toys for all ages, and it’s in Downtown Rocky River, which is so cute and walkable.
S’il Vous Play

This adorable toy shop opened in 2021, and they're located in an old fire station.
You'll instantly fall in love with this whimsical European-inspired toy shop once you step inside. There are two levels of toys, and on the second level, the kids can play while you shop. They specialize in sustainable, ethically-made toys from near and far.

These toy shops are extremely large for being locally owned shops. They have a lot of hands-on toys set up in the store for kids to try out.
They also have the largest selection of LEGOS and PLAYMOBIL than I've ever come across in a store. If you're looking for a local toy shop that has a massive selection, be sure to visit Sir Troy’s Toys Kingdom this holiday season.
