Christmas Escape Room at Perplexity Games

Join us on a festive adventure as we kicked off the holiday season with a plunge into the unknown, attempting our very first escape room at Perplexity Games in Ohio City.

The challenge? None other than the elusive "Naughty List" room where we had to try to sneak into Santa's lounge to remove our names from the naughty list. Let me tell you--it was so much fun!

The kids had been asking us to try an escape room for quite some time. I hesitated, wondering if it was the right fit for their age. But when I saw Perplexity Games had a Christmas-themed escape room, I knew it'd be a great fit for us.

My daughter is obsessed with all things Christmas (she put a Christmas tree in her bedroom in July 😆), and my son loves to solve puzzles. So, with a Christmas-themed escape room boasting age-appropriate challenges, it seemed tailor-made for us.

I'm not going to give away any of the puzzles (where's the fun in that?!), but my husband and I both felt like they were challenging. We really had to work together as a team to solve them. And my kids loved the feeling of contributing their ideas and solutions to the problems.

It was so cute seeing their faces light up when they came up with a new way to try to solve a puzzle.

The combination of the festive atmosphere, puzzles for young and old, and the sheer joy (and madness! 🤪) of working as a team made our visit to Perplexity a blast.
