Today, the company is still family-owned, with Mike’s descendants continuing his legacy of excellence.
What makes Malley’s stand out from other chocolatiers is their dedication to local craftsmanship. The chocolates are still made right here in Cleveland at their five-acre, 60,000 sq. ft. modern chocolate-making factory, with the same attention to detail and quality that has made them a household name.

Exploring Malley’s Brookpark Store
Walking into the Brookpark Road location of Malley’s Chocolates felt like being transported back in time. The shop is warm and inviting, with bright pops of color and shelves stocked full of chocolates, candies, and sweet treats.
The retro candy shop vibes, the friendly staff, and, of course, the incredible variety of treats made for a fun little adventure for us and our kids.
An Overwhelming (In the Best Way) Selection
The hardest part of our visit? Deciding what to get!
Malley’s offers an impressive selection of chocolates, from their classic truffles and bars to more unique seasonal items, like pumpkin pie truffles, Halloween peanut butter royals, and fall-themed gift boxes.
Our family has a few favorites that we always gravitate towards whenever we visit.
My son went straight for the CLE bars—Malley’s special Cleveland-themed chocolate bars. Mint truffles were also on his list, and for good reason. They’re melt-in-your-mouth delicious!
My daughter couldn’t resist the chocolate-covered Oreos, and my husband, ever a fan of the classics, had to stock up on Cherry Cordials and Snow Wafers.
As for me? I have a weakness for cappuccino truffles, so naturally, a few of those found their way into our basket.
