“Hunt of the Month: Camouflaged Moths

Many species of moths use the patterns on their wings to blend in with their natural surroundings and avoid predators. This is called camouflage. This month, we’ve hidden 20 cutouts of moths that have camouflaged themselves to look like things around the nature center. Visit CanalWay Center any day in September to search for these moths and judge how well they’ve hidden in our popular monthly indoor scavenger hunt.”
