Best Sledding Hills in Northeast Ohio
Winter is in full swing, which can only mean one thing in Northeast Ohio… it’s sledding season! ❄️🛷
We’ve rounded up the best sledding hills in Northeast Ohio, featuring our family’s personal favorites plus top recommendations straight from you—our amazing community—that you shared with us on our pages. From smaller hills perfect for little sledders to big, fast, and thrilling hills for older kids, there’s a sledding hill for everyone on this list.
Sledding can be a dangerous activity if precautions aren’t taken. So, please make sure that you’re being mindful of others when sledding. Always be sure to look downhill before taking off, and as soon as you get to the bottom, (please for the rest of us! 🤪) get up and step aside quickly so you don’t get taken out! Make sure there aren’t trees or hazards at the bottom of the hill before going down.
To make planning easy, we’ve organized the list alphabetically by city, so you can quickly find the best sledding spots near you and get outside while the snow lasts. You can click the name of each location for directions from Google Maps. You can also click the pink Show Map button below to see a Google Map listing of every hill on this list. Lastly, we’re still building this list, so keep checking back, and if we missed one of your favorite sledding hills, feel free to email us at clewithkids@gmail.com
