Where to find paczki in Cleveland on fat tuesday 2026

If you have lived in Northeast Ohio during the winter, then you know that paczki season is basically a sport around here. Every year, families line up at local bakeries, coworkers bring boxes to share, and the same question pops up all over Cleveland: where should we go for paczki this year?

Paczki season is something we plan for every year, and this guide is meant to make it easier for families to enjoy the tradition together. Whether you’re stopping in quickly with kids in tow or turning it into a yearly outing, these are places that feel welcoming, familiar, and family-friendly.

How We Chose These Spots

Every bakery included here is a well-known part of the Cleveland-area paczki tradition and welcomes families. We focused on locations that are easy for families to visit, popular with locals, and known for being busy this time of year, because part of the fun is sharing in a tradition so many Northeast Ohio families enjoy.

Lines can be long during paczki season, so planning ahead and going early can make the experience smoother, especially with younger kids.

Our family's go-to spots for the last few years have been Beckers in Fairview Park and the Doughnut Pantry in Lakewood.

Fat Tuesday gets busy, and places may sell out, so we recommend placing an order ahead of time or at least calling the location before heading there.
