⭐ What to Expect at Red Wagon Farm’s Pumpkin Festival 2025
Red Wagon Farm is located in Columbia Station, and has become a very popular destination for families looking to have some fall fun in Northeast Ohio.
This year they are hosting a Pumpkin Festival on Saturdays and Sundays from September 20 through October 16 10 a - 5p. Admission is $10 per person (children 2 & under are free) and includes a 5-acre corn maze, family games, unlimited wagon rides, and access to the kids play area. There’s also face painting in October.
You can purchase tickets online in advance, or at the entrance to the pumpkin festival.
I’d consider Red Wagon Farm to be a medium sized farm, smaller than a farm like Ramseyer, and bigger than a farm like Shuster’s. With admission at $10 a person, I felt like we got good value for our money. We spent approximately two and a half hours at the pumpkin festival when we visited. In the rest of this blog, I’ll share about what we did, what we enjoyed, and what to expect when visiting Red Wagon Farm.
⭐ Red Wagon Farm Corn Maze: Find the Hidden Characters
The corn maze felt like a normal sized corn maze (it’s listed as being 5 acres). You can be entered to win a gift card to Red Wagon Farm if you take a selfie with all four wooden characters in the corn maze and post them. We only managed to find one character, and never actually found our way from beginning to the end of the maze. After about 30 minutes, we gave up and went back out through the start.
⭐ Corn Pit and Tunnel Playground for Kids
Straight ahead when you enter is the Kids’ Play Area that has a little tunnel playground with hay bales to climb on. It’s not a very big structure, and it gets pretty full, but my kids liked it. Next to the tunnel playground is a small corn pit and a straw jungle which is a little maze made with bales of hay.
⭐ Family Games Area Activities
There is a large open area next to check-in that is called the Family Games Area (admission is required to get in). This area has quite a few games for families including corn hole, Connect 4, basketball, pumpkin checkers, tires for flipping, and a soccer net. We played Corn Hole, Connect 4, and shot some hoops at the basketball trailer.
⭐ Try Foot Golf at Red Wagon Farm
One really fun element that we LOVED at Red Wagon Farm was playing foot golf. There’s a box full of mini soccer balls with fun colors. Each player picks one and then you try to kick it down the “fairway” to the hole (which are cut tires that raise slightly off of the ground). There were nine holes, and it took us about fifteen to twenty minutes to play through. Each hole took us about four to seven kicks to reach. (We also cheated a bit and counted it as a “in” if we hit the black tire, rather than having to get it to roll up into the hole). It was lots of fun!
⭐ Wagon Rides Through the Land of Scarecrows
Included with the price of admission (you can only pay for a single ride for $5 if you don’t want to pay for the rest of the festival) is a tractor ride through the “Land of Scarecrows” that takes about ten to fifteen minutes. There are lots and lots of scarecrows dressed up in lots of silly costumes and set in really cute scenes like scarecrows playing baseball, a straw bank (think blood bank), and a barbecue.
⭐ Final Thoughts: Is Red Wagon Farm Worth Visiting This Fall?
Overall, Red Wagon Farm offers a perfect mix of activities for families — enough to fill a half-day without being overwhelming. If your kids love corn mazes, wagon rides, and outdoor games, you’ll want to make this a stop on your Cleveland fall bucket list this year.
We had such a great time at Red Wagon Farm. It had been quite a few years since we had last visited, and I was very impressed with how much they have added for their fall festival. They also have Red Wagon Farm’s brewery & tap room on site that brews beer, seltzers, and hard cider made on the farm. There are also food trucks, and a bakery providing lots of different food options.
They also have a pumpkin patch that is all you can carry for $10 which I thought was super cute and fun. The record this year for most carried at one time is thirteen!
