Join the excitement as our family of 19 sets out on a memorable journey to The Lodge in the heart of Hocking Hills, Ohio. Nestled among nature, Among The Trees Lodge is not just a place to stay; it's a haven for family reunions, boasting nine bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and the ability to comfortably accommodate up to 30 people.
Finding Home Amidst Chic Rustic Vibes:
From the moment we stepped into the living area, we were enveloped in chic, rustic vibes that made us feel instantly at home. The spacious design allowed our family to find their nooks – parents enjoying moments by the fireplace while the kids reveled in the basement, engrossed in movies and games. It was the perfect blend of togetherness and personal space, setting the stage for a truly memorable couple of days.
Feast and Fun in the Heart of The Lodge:
The heart of any family gathering is undoubtedly the kitchen and dining area, and The Lodge did not disappoint. The expansive kitchen became our culinary playground as we whipped up delicious meals. The dining area, adorned with big tables, became the hub for shared laughter, hearty meals, and endless board games. We never felt cramped or short on space – a true luxury for a big family seeking quality time together.
Chasing Adventure on The Lodge's Private Trail:
One of the Lodge's fun features is its private trail, leading us to hidden treasures within the Hocking Hills wilderness. We embarked on a journey of exploration, discovering a recessed cave and a seasonal waterfall. The trail offered not just a walk in the woods but a chance to connect with nature and each other.
Relaxation Amidst Nature's Symphony:
The cherry on top of our Lodge experience? The two seven-person hot tubs nestled amidst the beautiful trees. After a day of exploration, we found solace in the warm embrace of the tubs, surrounded by the soothing sounds of nature. It was a serene retreat, allowing us to unwind, share stories, and simply enjoy being together in the heart of Ohio's picturesque landscape.
There’s also a heated pool that’s open from mid-May till the end of September.
