5 Of The Best Playgrounds To Visit

5 Of The Best Playgrounds To Visit

My kids absolutely LOVE driving around trying to find the best playgrounds. Sometimes I feel like we spend more time hunting for the best playgrounds than we actually spend playing on them. 🤦‍♀️Either way, it gets us out of the house and enjoying the (hopefully) beautiful Cleveland weather!I've compiled the top 5 of what we consider to be the best playgrounds to visit. I'm hoping to do individual blog posts for each playground in the future. Until then, I hope these help you and your littles on your next adventure! Also -- if you're looking for some of the Best Playgrounds in and around Cleveland, be sure to check out our post 50 Best Cleveland Area Playgrounds.

They also recently built a brand new 2-5yrs play area with sand tables and music panels that is wheelchair accessible. ❤ Your little adventurer will have a blast at this playground!

3. Prestons H.O.P.E - Beachwoood

Prestons Hope Best PlaygroundsPreston's HOPE is the largest fully accessible playground park in Northeast Ohio. This playground has an incredible history behind it which I would encourage you to take some time to read before visiting. This wonderful playground has a little town with cute little buildings to play inside of, a dinosaur dig, and many different play zones to explore. The best part is it is completely handicap accessible. The playground is very big, so keep that in mind when visiting. I don't like to go without my husband, because it's tough keeping an eye on both kids by myself.

4. Dora Lee Payne - Berea

Best Playgrounds Berea

Okay! Seriously. What kid doesn't DREAM about being able to play in a giant spaceship? One of the things I love about this playground is how it’s set far back from any main roads. That gives this mama peace of mind! It's also not too big, which makes it easy to keep an eye on both of my littles. The best part? They can spend hours here.

    5.    Cascade Park - Elyria

Cascade Best Playgrounds

This isn't just any old playground. It's a music-inspired playground with lots of interactive elements to help your child use their imagination while learning about how sound works.  It also has a cute little splash pad! PLUS there are some absolutely beautiful trails you can take to get to two different waterfalls. We spent some time climbing these huge rocks to get to the falls, which was really cool. I highly recommend this one!
